The Schengen Visa Law requires that all applicants appear in person at our Consulate. This requirement can be waived under exceptional circumstances like health reasons, distance, previous Schengen Visas...

If you wish to apply for a waiver, please fill out the attached Application Form, print it and fax it to the following number: 1 - 310 - 826 - 5526 along with a copy of all relevant documents supporting your request (passport, utility bill as a proof of residence, medical certificate as proof of health reasons, copy of previous Schengen visas....). 

This Consulate will evaluate your application and fax you back its decision. Please, don't send your documents until you have receved a written approval by this Consulate! 

Only applications properly filled out with complete supporting documentation will be  accepted and processed. Incomplete applications will be returned in the envelope you provided.

The envelope containing the application papers must be delivered  by "AIR" FEDEX (NO "GROUND" FEDEX ACCEPTED!). Arrangements must be made for a pre-paid AIR FEDEX return envelope.
